Founded in 2022, Secrets Session is an invitation-only international magic convention dedicated to the art of close-up magic. Held annually during the third week of October at the BILL CHEUNG MAGIC THEATER in Austria, we proudly offer what we believe to be the best close-up venues found at any convention anywhere.

The theater is designed specifically for close-up magic, featuring professional lighting,top-notch equipment, and a seating arrangement crafted to maximize the magic experience.Each year, the convention is limited to just 120 magicians, ensuring an intimate and focused atmosphere. Secrets Session serves as a unique platform for professional magicians, performers, and creators to connect, collaborate, and elevate the craft of close-up magic.

All events take place in our unique close-up magic theater, which includes a fully equipped bar and dedicated jamming areas right outside the performance hall. This creates the perfect environment for magicians to connect, share ideas, and find inspiration. Accommodations are located just a 2-minute walk from the theater, with both the hotel and theater offering free parking for attendees.

A Living Legend of Magic and Sleight of Hand

With an illustrious career spanning over four decades, Michael Vincent has captivated audiences around the globe — from royalty and celebrities to world-renowned corporate organizations. Hernan MACCAGNO

Hernán Maccagno (Argentina)

Hernán Maccagno is an internationally recognized magician from Buenos Aires, Argentina, known for his elegant sleight of hand, creative thinking, and deeply artistic approach to magic. His performances combine technical mastery with humor, theatrical presence, and a poetic style that makes his magic both powerful and memorable.

He first entered the world of magic at the age of 30, but quickly developed into one of the most respected close-up magicians in Latin America. Hernán won First Prize in Close-Up Magic at FLASOMA Argentina (2004) and has since performed and lectured across Latin America, Europe, and Asia, sharing his original ideas with magicians worldwide.

Christian Engblom

Christian Engblom is a Finnish “magician’s magician” — an inventive performer and sought-after lecturer with over 30 years of professional experience. Known for turning the impossible into deeply memorable moments, he is widely respected for original thinking, strong construction, and magical impact that resonates with both lay audiences and seasoned magicians.

Internationally, Christian is the only Finnish magician to have appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us twice (2018 and 2023), a rare distinction that speaks to the originality of his work. He has also served as a technical consultant for David Blaine (2014–2015).

Der Weltmeister der Magie, Bill Cheung, präsentierte seine Shows, Galaauftritte und Seminare bereits in über 30 Ländern. Der Wiener Illusionist LUCCA ist ein professioneller Entertainer und Speaker. Seit seinen Anfängen hat er es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Zauberkunst wieder als hochwertige und unterhaltsame Kunstform zu etablieren.

Losgelöst von alten Klischees der Zauberei behandelt er in seinen Illusionen so unterschiedliche Themen wie Lügen, Reinkarnation, Verschränkung von Quantenteilchen, Liebe, Musik oder legendäre Fußballspiele. Seine Kunststücke, die er zum Teil selbst erfindet, beziehen fast immer das Publikum mit ein. Anca & Lucca:

Das Ehepaar Anca & Lucca ist unvergleichlich. Nach dem Studium von Magiern und selbsternannten Hellsehern entwickelten sie ihre eigenen Methoden zur Demonstration von Gedankenlesen, Hellsehen und Vorahnungen.

Als gebürtige Rumänin entdeckte Anca die Magie erst nach ihrer Heirat mit Lucca, hatte jedoch davor schon jahrzehntelange Bühnenerfahrung als Turniertänzerin seit ihrer frühesten Kindheit. Ihre Begeisterung für die Mentalmagie war für sie selbst überraschend, ihr einzigartiges Talent für das Gedankenlesen und Hellsehen sowie für die Darstellung ihres empathischen Bühnencharakters ließen sie in nur wenigen Jahren vom Quereinsteiger zur unglaublichsten Gedankenleserin avancieren.
