About Secrets Session FISM Qualified Contest (FQC)
To promote the art of close-up magic and inspire magicians' creativity, we host the FISM Qualified Contest (FQC) annually during Secrets Session. The contest strictly adheres to FISM standards and competition rules, with FISM Official Judges scoring independently to determine the competitors' results.
A core objective of this contest is to provide competitors with a clearer understanding of how their routines would score in an official FISM competition. By participating in FQC, competitors receive invaluable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of their acts, allowing them to refine their act and improve their chances of success in future competitions.
In addition to benefiting competitors, FQC also provides a valuable training opportunity for Judges in Training. These aspiring judges are given hands-on experience in the FISM scoring process, though their scores are used solely for training purposes and do not affect the competition results.
Whether you are a competitor seeking to gauge your act's FISM-level scoring or an aspiring judge looking to develop your evaluation skills, we warmly welcome you to participate in FQC and benefit from this unique platform. Competitors will not only receive professional feedback from FISM Official Judges, but also gain essential preparation for pursuing success in FISM World Championships.
We also offer a €1,500 cash prize to the winner, along with a contract for future performance opportunities at Bill Cheung Magic Theater.
